Preview: now TV is one of the most reputed products in internet services over a few years. Since PCCW has entered UK market through their subsidiary UK Broadband the United Kingdom's audience is enjoying one of the most outstanding broadband deals around the world. now TV was launched by the umbrella company PCCW for a trial in 2003. Later it was unveiled in August of 2003. It was officially launched in September 2003. This popular product was seen in UK market with the initial operations of PCCW. Now the subscribers of now TV enjoy the access to 136 digital channels with different contents and twists.
At the very beginning now TV had only 23 channels. In June of 2005 the number reached to 70. By now the numbers of channel have moved up to 136.

The service provides the viewers with high profile TV channels like ESPN, Drama Channel, etc. under movie & drama category they have 15 channels to satisfy the audience. They show 10 travel and documentary channels. To provide the users the news, views and reviews that have been taking place around the world the service has 19 news channels. For the children there are 6 channels- 3 Disney, 2 Cartoon Network and 1 Nickelodeon. In the category of music and other entertainments the service facilitates users with 49 digital channels with now shop included. For sports lovers there are 8 channels. To learn about foreign language you have 4 different channels. The special pack includes 22 channels. Adult section has 5 channels to offer. English, Cantonese and Mandarin are the three main languages in which programs are broadcasted. There are 9 other languages in which the programs are introduced to the audience.
Performances and Development: now TV was able to attract 200,000 customers within 4 months from the time of its establishment. Though it targets the higher income class it had over 450,000 viewers within the year end of 2005. But now TV is loosing the market in Hong Kong as well as UK and suffering loss since 2005.
Awards: now TV has received several awards during the time of the operations. CASBAA (Cable and Satellite Broadcasting Association of Asia) announced now TV as the winner of "The Chairman's Award". CASBAA in 2004. The digital television was awarded for pro active and innovative marketing of the pay TV.
Future technology of now: now TV has a future plan of providing the consumers new resolution of now TV which is 4 times better and larger than that of high-definition TV channels which the company is going to launch in 2007. With new technology now TV is assumed to have its audience number increased in UK.
