Netvigator Launched by UK Broadband

UK Broadband Ltd declared on 6th May 2004 that, they will launch the new high speed wireless internet service "Netvigator". According to them, it will add a new dimension to the using and accessing the internet.
The first places which will experience this new service are the six areas in the Thames Valley. It offers wireless broadband internet service to both office and home. It is almost 10 to 20 times faster than a dial up internet service which provides 512 kbps to 2mbps. It provides internet service which does not require any cable connection or telephone line. The system can be installed within a few minutes as a plug and play device is present in online stores and in high street shops as well.
The CEO of the company, Mike Butcher has said that, Netvigator is a revolutionary service as it permits consumers to set up their broadband service within a few minutes and offers integrated service with very high speed browsing. He claimed that, this service will change people's lives. As the technology, Netvigator is without wire, a user can consume a broadband connection anywhere in the house. This service with a very fast connection makes really easy to surf the internet, download music or videos and shop or bank over the internet (Online Shopping & Online Banking). It opens up the web to the customers. Many people do not want to change their connection to broadband connection and is sticking to very low speed internet. It is happening because of the expense, delay in getting connection and, the disturbance of dealing with more than one internet service provider. But, Netvigator is different from other service providers. It is the simplest of job to set up and as it is a wireless connection, customers do not need any technician or engineer to visit their home. Moreover, it takes few minutes to set up broadband connection. Netvigator is one of the most developed broadband offerings obtainable. UK Broadband Limited, a sub-brand of PCCW Ltd, operates Netvigator service. The PCCW Limited is one of the top integrated communications companies in Asia. The Broadband Service of PCCW has more than 800,000 consumers in Hong Kong. The company has a nationwide ownership of UK contiguous licenses to provide wireless broadband service.
According to the CEO, initially this service will be available only in Maidenhead, Aldershot, Slough, Reading, Windsor, Workingham and Windsor. It is available for only $350, $530 and $850. These different price structures are for different packages of different speed limit. This offer is only valid for new residential subscriptions. But, the existing subscribers are not bound by any obligation.
After completing the launching program of Netvigator, UK Broadband Limited will declare their nationwide rollout plans and programs for this new service in Northern Ireland & in the UK. As it is a very unique service because of its speed and less time consuming, its market share is increasing every now and then and it is gaining more exposure.
